The weather is causing some difficulties for Republic Services – the Waste Disposal Service for the Village of West Salem. Republic notified the Village that the trash pick-up scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2025 may be delayed by one day this week. They may also miss some homes this week. If they do miss a home, they will take all of the trash on the next scheduled pick-up which is on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
