The West Salem Village Hall will be accepting candidate petitions for the Consolidated Election to be held on April 6, 2027 for the following offices:
- Village President/Mayor. One (1) open seat. Term is four (4) years.
- Village Trustee. Three (3) open seats. Terms are four (4) years.
- Library Trustee. Three (3) open seats. Terms are four (4) years.
- Library Trustee. Three (3) open seats. Terms are two (2) years.
- Library Trustee. One (1) unexpired seat. Term is two (2) years.
Candidate petitions will be accepted during normal business hours beginning Monday, November 16, 2026, through Monday November 23, 2026. Village Hall will be open the following hours:
- Monday, November 16, 2026 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Tuesday, November 17, 2026 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Wednesday, November 18, 2026 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Thursday, November 19, 2026 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Friday, November 16, 2026 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Monday, November 23, 2026 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
