March 17, 2026 is the General Primary Election in Illinois. Polls will be open from 6:00AM to 7:00 PM that day. On the ballot will be the nomination of candidates for US Senator and the US Congress Representative. Nominations for the Illinois Governor’s race, as well as several other State and County Offices are on the ballot. West Salem residents may vote at the Morvarian Church (257 E. Church Street, West Salem). Early voting is now available at the Edwards County Clerk’s Office (50 East Main Street, Albion, IL). The County Clerk’s office is open from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
