The Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission (GWRPC) is working with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) to develop a Safety Action Plan for our Region. A Comprehensive Safety Plan will be developed in accordance with the federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) funding program, making GWRPC and West Salem eligible for future funding opportunities through SS4A and other state and federal grant programs.
