The monthly meetings of the West Salem Village Board of Trustees are open to the public.

Village Hall will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday (11/27/25 -11/28/25). Utility Payments may be made online,  or placed in the mail slot just to the east of the entrance doors of Village Hall.

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, trash pick-up is delayed one day. Typically trash is picked-up on Thursdays, but will be be picked up on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

The third annual lighting of  live Christmas trees decorated by local community groups and residents. Area churchs form a joint choir to sing carols. Hot chocolate and homemade cookies will be available.

The monthly meetings of the West Salem Volunteer Fire Department are open to the public. Meetings are held at the Fire Station next to Village Hall.

The meeting has been re-scheduled to Monday, December 29, 2025.

Rescheduled monthly Village Board Meeting from December 22, 2025. Village Board Meetings are open to the public.  The sealed bids for  the Village owned property at 108 W.
