The installation of a new “Welcome to West Salem” sign is underway! While the sign itself is up, there is still some work to be done on this project. New landscaping, lighting, and flags will be added over the next few weeks.
The sign is made of a high-density outdoor sign foam, carved by Thomson’s Custom Woodworking. The painting was done by Norman Howell, and clear coating completed by Jeff Bradham. The sign posts were fabricated by Jeff and Tom Greathouse. Installation of the sign was done by Tod Goble and Mike Clark. Jason Arnold will be completing the landscaping and lighting.
A dedication is being planned for October.
