Village Hall will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 1, 2025. Utility Payments may be made online,  or placed in the mail slot just to the east of the entrance doors of Village Hall.

A weekly Farmers’ Market is held on Friday mornings on the Square in West Salem during the summer.

The monthly meetings of the West Salem Volunteer Fire Department are open to the public. Meetings are held at the Fire Station next to Village Hall.

The offices of Illinois State Senator Terri Bryant and Illinois State Representative Dave Severin will be hosting “Traveling Office Hours” at the West Salem Village Hall from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a free public event.
