The monthly meeting of the West Salem Volunteer Fire Department are open to the public.  Meetings are held at the Fire Station next to Village Hall.

Village Hall will be closed in observance of Lincoln's Birthday. Utility payments may be made online, or placed in the mail slot just to the east of the entrance doors of Village Hall. Trash service will remain as scheduled for Thursday (2/12/26).

llinois Senator Terri Bryant and State Representative Dave Severin will be hosting traveling office hours in West Salem on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Stop by Village Hall for a cup of coffee and to discuss your concerns with legislative aide Fisher Overstreet. This is a free event and open to the public.
